Amy Bateman’s 40 Farms- Young Farmers Competition

‘Happy Hour’

The photograph I entered was a documentary style image taken on my family’s farm. The photograph presents our mules on top of Orrest Head being fed by my sister, Amy.

The photograph was entered into the ‘21st century farmer’– “a documentary style. This could be photos which shows the links between heritage , farming, countryside and innovation. Photography depicting an exciting future or a film which shows changing times on the farm, maybe across generations or through new ways of farming.”

I enjoyed a days work experience where I assisted Rheghed gallery staff with the preperations for the exciting exhibition.
